Dovercourt and WAVE, in partnership with Families Matter Cooperative, are excited to invite you to a unique networking and knowledge exchange event called The Hot Stove and Collab.

This interactive event is designed to offer parents, siblings and caregivers with the tools, knowledge and key information on the future of housing for persons with developmental disabilities.

Moderated by CBC personality Ashley Wright, the “The Hot Stove” is designed to be entertaining and informative. Panelists include Martha Beach (DSO Housing Coordinator), Alison Moore (LiveWorkPlay’s Support Coordinator), Marge McCabe (Housing Task Force member, 2014-18’) and Sharon Edwards (Community leader and past Families Matter Coop Board of Directors).

The Collab will be a facilitated group activity to brainstorm and build new and innovative solutions and resources that empower families, foster networks of support and build the capacity of individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities.
